Hello, and welcome! I’m Nicola Moran, an Interfaith Minister, Legal Wedding and Family Celebrant. It is my absolute joy and privilege to create meaningful and personal ceremonies that honour life’s most cherished moments.
Since 2018, I have worked with families to create meaningful ceremonies that truly reflect their unique essence and bring their vision to life. With over 100 ceremonies performed to date, I bring experience, warmth, and a deep commitment to making each occasion truly special.
Whether you are celebrating love, welcoming a new life, saying farewell to a loved one, or seeking spiritual guidance, I am here to support you. My approach is warm, inclusive, and deeply personal, ensuring that each ceremony truly reflects your beliefs, values, and traditions. Every moment in life deserves to be honoured with love and authenticity, and I am dedicated to making that happen for you.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN INTERFAITH MINISTER?
I’m proud to say I’m an Ordained Interfaith Minister, trained and recognised by OneSpirit Interfaith Ireland, a non-denominational, inclusive organisation that honours all paths to the sacred, and none. What that means in simple terms is – I create ceremonies that reflect your beliefs, not mine.
Whether you follow a particular religion, feel spiritual but not religious, or simply believe in love, kindness, and connection, I’m here to celebrate that with you.
MY TRAINING
To become an Interfaith Minister, I completed a two-year intensive training with OneSpirit. This included:
- Learning about the world’s major faith paths and spiritual traditions
- Developing deep listening and pastoral care skills
- Designing and writing meaningful ceremonies
- Studying Irish marriage law and solemnising weddings legally
- Exploring how to hold sacred space for people from all walks of life
It was a beautiful, soul-stretching journey that taught me how to truly meet people where they are.
WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU
As an Interfaith Minister and registered legal solemniser, I can:
- Legally marry couples anywhere in Ireland (once the venue meets HSE rules)
- Create ceremonies that are spiritual, secular, or a gentle mix of both
- Include elements from different cultures or beliefs—perfect for mixed-faith or intercultural weddings
- Support LGBTQ+ couples, second marriages, blended families, and all kinds of love stories
- Offer family ceremonies like baby namings, vow renewals, funeral and memorials with warmth and meaning
I don’t come with a script. Instead, we work together to create something that feels true to you—whether that’s a candlelit hand-fasting in the woods, a large family gathering for your wedding, or a quiet, heartfelt elopement with just the two of you and the birds.
Why I Love This Work
To me, being an Interfaith Minister is about compassion, presence, and connection. It’s not about preaching—it’s about listening, holding space, and helping people mark life’s big moments in ways that feel authentic and sacred to them.
It’s a huge honour to do this work. I don’t take it lightly—and I bring all of my heart to every ceremony I write and deliver.
